Note:

  1.  The 9 errors  shown in the report below are typical & normal for the VAIO F Series @ the present & do not cause any problems. If your own report show more errors then you should look into it & fix them.
  2. When going to the report's path, I could not open the html doc with neither Firefox, Internet Explorer nor Google Chrome. Copied the report to My Documents & it then opened fine. Start > search: energy-report.html > right click > Open File Location > copy to your folder, Open the copy in your browser.
How to do it on the Vaio F Series with Windows 7: Start > search: cmd > right click, run as administrator > type exactly & only: powercfg -energy w/o the full path shown below and wait for the report to be produced, it takes about one minute to get own report.

Platform Power Management Capabilities:Supported Sleep States
Sleep states allow the computer to enter low-power modes after a period of inactivity. The S3 sleep state is the default sleep state for Windows platforms. The S3 sleep state consumes only enough power to preserve memory contents and allow the computer to resume working quickly. Very few platforms support the S1 or S2 Sleep states.
